About Ivy Neal

Some of where we live looks kinda like this.

Why I’m writing

My motivation for this blog stems from my own life experience, and the process of learning that all talents, jobs, and effort can be used to serve others and further the kingdom of God.

I talk about my journey in this area in this one of my first posts and especially in this follow-up!

I would LOVE to help in growing a community of others who seek to develop their abilities in service of the Lord and people. Whatever we do, be it “big” or “small”, has value, has purpose in the big picture.

You were placed on this planet for a reason, as a unique individual. I want to encourage you, possibly entertain you, and hopefully provide some helpful tips (such as this one and this one) to support you in your personal development!

About Ivy Neal

Most of where we live looks more like this.

I am not…

  • an expert on theology, or even a Bible teacher. For an excellent blog with that focus, I highly recommend my sister-in-law’s blog.
  • a Joanna Gaines-esque interior decorator or super Pinterest-y mom. (Though, of course, I am on Pinterest.) I dabble in these areas, but I’ll mostly leave that to others.
  • a medical professional, personal trainer, or nutritionist. Most of my expertise in these areas comes from ballet training, some fitness education, and my own trial and error. If you are at all uncertain about how to proceed in your own situation, please do consult a professional!

Anyway…welcome! I’m glad you’re here, and I would love to get to know you! Please feel free to drop a comment, send me an email, or share any post you find helpful!
